IS GOD TESTING US?

After studying and reading the Bible multiple times, there was a realization that the words TEST, TESTING or TESTED appeared many times.  The more thought that was given to that fact, the more I realized He was testing me every day if not every minute.  At times, particularly when calling companies for help or information, my patience weakened over the laborious process and or trying to understand English with a much different accent.  So it was and then realization hit me that I was being tested.  Many a time I have had to apologize to the Lord for my verbal actions and impatience.  So now I try BEFORE that call is made, to realize that I am being tested and to remain cool, calm and collected. 

Moral of the story:  think twice before you lose it and keep the Lord happy!  Think twice before making statements and or decisions.

And then I realized that God tests us because He loves us!

Thus this project to try and document all of the places in the Bible where the words TEST, TESTING or TESTED appear.  Amazing!  Some 94 times!  There may be more and they will be added as found.  The source has been several versions of the Bible.  To see the result so far, CLICK HERE to download all of the verses.

Power of Prayer 

Someone once said that there was no such thing as an unanswered prayer; just prayers that God answered differently than what we’d requested of Him. God always answers prayers in the way that He knows is best, not in the way that we think is best. It’s up to us to learn to trust His heart more fully even when we don’t understand His answers

Nicholas Vujicic was born in Melbourne, Australia, in 1982 to Dušanka and Borislav Vujičić, Serbian immigrants from Yugoslavia. 

He was born without fully formed limbs. According to his autobiography, his mother refused to see him or hold him when the nurse held him in front of her, and she and her husband went out of the hospital and vomited from seeing their son with no limbs, but they eventually accepted the condition and understood it as "God's plan for their son."

Originally, the toes of one of his feet were fused. An operation was performed to separate the toes so that he could use them as fingers to grab. He refers to it as his chicken drumstick. 

When he was seventeen years old, Vujicic's mother showed him a newspaper article about a woman praying with a severe disability; he then started to give talks at his prayer group. Vujicic graduated from Griffith University at the age of 21 with a Bachelor of Commerce degree, with a double major in accountancy and financial planning.

In 2005, Vujicic founded Life Without Limbs, an international non-profit organization and ministry. In 2007, he founded Attitude is Altitude, a secular motivational speaking company.

HOW TO LIVE YOUR LIFE

When one reads the Bible, particularly the novice, it can become very confusing particularly when attempting to remember and/or correlate names, cities and or countries.  Thus it becomes necessary to study the Bible so that a message is received.  The proper message!

It is felt that one of the rewards of studying the Bible is to come away with a sense of the right way to conduct ones life.  Most of us have all heard of the Ten Commandments which basically states how one should live their life if they are to be a Jesus follower.  Thus the purpose of this dissertation. 

It begins with the Ten Commandments which is then followed by easily understood passages from the Bible.  If followed, one can have a wonderful life with an unbelievable final destination.

Jesus Today

Let My Peace rule in your heart – and be thankful.  I have called you to a life of Peace and thankfulness.  These two are closely related.  The more grateful you are, the better able you are to receive My Peace.  Conversely, the more peaceful you are, the easier it is to be grateful.  Your calmness helps you to think clearly and to recognize the many blessings I shower upon you.  This calm thankfulness is independent of circumstances; it flows out of your confidence that I always do what is best – even when you cannot understand My ways.

My Peace can function as an umpire in your heart, settling the questions and doubts that rise up in your thoughts.  Whenever you start to feel anxious, use those feelings as a reminder to communicate with Me.  Talk with Me about whatever is disturbing you.  Bring Me all your requests with thanksgiving.  Because you are Mine – intimately united with Me – I personally guard your heart and mind with My Peace.  Remember that this is supernatural Peace, which surpasses all understanding.  (page 106.)
